Pinturas 2014-2018<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For Guillermo P\u00e9rez Villalta, born in Tarifa, Cadiz, spain, in 1948, an exhibition is the end of a work process, the time to show you the paintings that he has done and to explain and share by means of writings the topic or topics that you have studied, analyzed, interpreted and challenged, and that form the rationale of each of the works. It is through these texts as we know his opinion about the current moment in art and everything that surrounds it, and what that allows us to understand the motivations and impulses that act before, during and after the creative process. The gallery Fern\u00e1ndez-Braso presents the latest works by the artist as well as the edition of a catalogue, which collects the texts written by the author. Guillermo P\u00e9rez Villalta, in these last works, takes to the limit the study and interpretation of the values of classicism; theoretical, pictorial, and architectural. Two themes come all the attention: the architectural landscape, represented in its two ends, the most sober, austere and metaphysical to the most complex, excessive, and rhetorical. And interiors with figures, classic theme in the path of the artist that lets you &#034;play and speculate with space and perspective.&#034; In general, the approach becomes &#034;more severe, geometric and essential&#034;, but at the same time emphasizes &#034;a mode of painting, in compliance with the drawing, share this values, atmospheric and lighting&#034;.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class='yrm-content yrm-content-1 yrm-content-hide' id='yrm-DXyx3' data-id='1' data-show-status='false' data-after-action='' style=\"visibility: hidden;height: 0;\">\n\t\t\t<div id='yrm-inner-content-yrm-DXyx3' class='yrm-inner-content-wrapper yrm-cntent-1'><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Guillermo P\u00e9rez Villalta is considered to be one of the reference names within the Spanish art of the second half of the TWENTIETH century. He was granted the Scholarship of the Ministry of Culture in 1975. The Grant from the Juan March Foundation in 1980. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1989.
