Guillermo Martín Bermejo

His drawings depict a romantic world populated by fragile beings that emerge from the myths and literature of the west. Some are almost fragments without end, intimate portraits drawn in pages taken from old books and broken you buy at flea markets. Other drawings become scenes developed where these characters interact in the scenarios and traditions of the places where the artist lives. Its quality seemingly naïve uses the past as a poetic space in which to tell their own memories and life experiences. The fiction overlaps with the reality and the narrative of classical artists are intertwined with the life of William.

La galería Fernández-Braso mantiene en su fondo una selección de obra del artista. En la actualidad, GMB está representado por la galería James Freeman de Londres, donde expondrá próximamente.
